Erik von Detten was born on 3 October 1982, San Diego, California. He was all over the Teen magazines like Tiger Beat, Teen Beat, Super teen, Bop and popstar magazine. He played Chris Savage on the ABC comedy Complete Savages.
Produced by Mel Gibson and NBC Universal Television, the show chronicles the amusing and chaotic trials and tribulations of a father (Keith Carradine) single-handedly raising five teenage boys.

Erik Von Detten has guest starred on serval tv shows including ABC Odd Man out, The Disney Channel’s So Weird in 1999. ABC 8 Simple Rules, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit in 1999 where he played a kid trapped in a storm drain.

His diverse telefilm credits include the lead role in the hit rollerblading movie, Brink! (1998) (TV), which was one of the first Disney Channel Original Movies; Replacing Dad (1999) (TV) with Mary McDonnell; a starring role opposite Robert Hays in The Family Channel’s Christmas Every Day (1996) (TV); CBS’ A Stranger to Love (1996) (TV) with Beau Bridges; the lead character of Danny in Disney’s remake of Escape to Witch Mountain (1995) (TV) for ABC; CBS’ A Season of Hope (1995) (TV) opposite JoBeth Williams; NBC’s “In the Line of Duty: Kidnapped” with Dabney Coleman and Timothy Busfield; and the CBS drama In the Best of Families: Marriage, Pride & Madness (1994) (TV), in which he played the young son to Keith Carradine‘s character.

One of his major films was Leave it to Beaver in 1997 where he played Wally Cleaver. Played a leading role in The Princess Diaries where is played the love interest to Anne Hathaway. Played the voice of Sid in the movie Toy Story with Tim Allen from Home Improvement.

Jonathan Knight was born on November 29, 1986  in Massachusetts. He was  the son of Marlene and Allan Knight. He grew up in the Dorchester area of Boston with his 5 brothers and sisters and numerous foster children his mother took in. One of Jonathan’s brothers is also in the group Jordan Knight.  Jonathan struck fame as the first boy band in the late 1980”s called THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK. The New Kids were really popular in the late 1980′s and 1990′s. The sold out concert and broke in a number of number one hits. The group took time off before their last album “Face The Music” was released, and during the tour for that album, Knight decided to call it quits. Suffering from an anxiety and panic disorder, he no longer felt that he could continue performing. He know is back on tour with Donnie Walberg, Jordan Knight, Danny Wood and Joey Mcintyre. They have perfmored on the today show. They also did a New kids on th eblock cruise that sold out. Now they are having another cruise this summer. Now The Bckstreet Boys are doing a cruise one of my all time Favorite groups. It’s already sold out. Seems like a lot of groups are doing cruises for their fans. Even thought I wasn’t a really big fan of the New kids they still have it going on and I’m proud od them for continuing their music.

Jonathan Knight Trivia

Lives on a farm in Essex, Massachusettes.

Older brother of singer Jordan Knight.

Jonathan quit New Kids on the Block in 1994 after he suffered an emotional breakdown.

His parents, Allan and Marlene are divorced.

Worked at Burger King and a pizza shop prior to joining New Kids on the Block.

First singing  job was as a choirboy.

His father, Allan, is an Episcopal priest.

After passing his driving test he was in a serious car accident and was quite badly injured; he still gets back pains as a result.
