Green Acres

It is an absolutely gorgeous day today! We had some good rain yesterday; the tanks are full, the creeks are running, and things are really greening up. It promises to be a beautiful spring, especially for wildflowers this year. We have already seen 11 wild turkey, and the purple martins have finally returned, although they were late this year. I imagine the cold weather kept them away longer. It was just a few weeks ago that we had that beautiful snow. It was gorgeous to look at, but I’m glad it didn’t stick around too long.
