It’s easy to add pictures to a blog post or page. The process is similar for adding new, or editing existing, posts or pages. See the picture below and follow the numbers:

1) First add the title (for a new post or page).
2) Next start your text unless you want to add your picture(s) first.
3) Third put your mouse cursor in the spot where you want the picture to go and click (for new or existing post or page).
4) Finally, click on the little star beside “Add media” above.
This opens the Add Media screen over the Dashboard. See image below:

1) Select the source of your images. From Computer is the default, and likely, choice.
2) Select Files opens a browse (or navigation) box that allows you to select the image you want to insert into your post, or page, at the point where you placed your mouse cursor.
When you select the file it will transfer to the form and, if you are uploading it you will see this section added to the Add Media box:

Add or select the required information. Often this is just
1) Alignment and Size
2) Then click the Insert into Post button
and your image will appear in your post where you clicked the mouse cursor.
You can now continue adding text or more pictures.
Click Here for a short (about 5 minutes) video that might help put this all in context. You’ll need a Macromedia Shock Wave Flash player plugin for your browser (most people already have this) to see this video.
